Based in Newcastle, Washington, Kelly is best known as a contributing writer for Newcastle Living Magazine. When the weather is good, you can find her kayaking, hiking, gardening — or writing!
She published her first book, Where Is Home: A Memoir, in September 2021. It’s available on Amazon and at Auntie’s Bookstore in Spokane, Washington. She wrote her second book in November 2021 for NaNoWriMo, a writing contest (50,000 words in 30 days). It’s historical fiction set in Roslyn, Washington during the 1880s coal mining days.
