May 21, 2022 | Day 21: A Book that Inspired Me

I think about the many articles and books I’ve read that have inspired me, and I’d like to say that my friend Eric Stathers’ book, Fly Fishing Tales: Memoirs from Fifty Years of Fly Fishing, inspired me the most because it inspired me to take action and self-publish my book. I’d previously thought that published books contained some magic ju-ju, but when I read Eric’s book, I saw that it contained short memoirs like those he’d shared with our memoir group. Reading Eric’s book that had been published made me feel like I could self-publish my book…and so I did!
